Work has continued at a steady pace for the past few weeks within the building and on the site.
Passers-by on Brandon Road can now see the asphalt base coat (the layer between the ground and the visible black-top) that will eventually be paved for the new parking lot. The roof of the facility is also transforming on a daily basis; the water barrier membrane is being installed as part of the process that keeps the interior safe from the elements.
Internally, partitions are being installed to create office and public spaces. The meeting room, which will hold 80 people, is already looking inviting as a future community gathering space. Rough plumbing and electrical work have also begun.
