Trim painting has begun and the siding will be installed soon. The mustard colored air barrier that has been visible for the past month will soon give way to the beige exterior.
Plantings went into the ground this past week. The landscape architect's sketch, which labels the individual plants, shrubs, and trees will be on display at the current library in the near future. Come in and see where the birch, junipers, forsythia and about a dozen other plantings will be located.
Looking ahead, the paving of the parking lot will begin soon. Internally, insulation on the exterior walls will be installed next week, and the sheetrock will commence shortly thereafter.
Please remember that it is a construction site, so onlookers need to stay outside of the fence. That may be difficult because it is such a beautiful building, but spring, and the opening, will be here before we know it! (More on the opening over the next few months.)
